Woody, as someone who has been lurking here for some time and have received so much helpful information with my first experience with my Lab, I want to extend my heartfelt condolence for your loss of this excellent site. But it looks like the wonderful community, that has been with you for so long, is starting to rally back and I believe this site will be back to the way it was in no time. I thank you, as a newbie, for the years you kept this going, building a community that can help someone make the experience of this lovely breed of dog the best they can make it.

I look forward to being part of your community, learning more about my Lab, and hopefully help as most of your community members do.

Well the other forum got more traffic in those few days than it had in months, mostly talking about this forum being down.. I expect it to die back down now though.

I wasn't sure why I couldn't get on for a few days but figured you were just doing some sort of maintenance or overhaul and I missed an announcement. So sorry to hear that it was so much more than that and the years of work is lost. I feel badly for all the time many folks put into things we had stickied that were invaluable sources of information. I'm sure you were quite devastated by the loss of everything also.
